A large high tech business has been in hot water with the Health and Safety Executive after a whistle-blower claimed that their ‘talent development program’ was actually a ‘CEO clone development program’.
For years it seems that talents were subjected to brainwashing, drugging and corporate challenges to see how closely they could replicate their aging incumbent CEO. When not sufficiently similar they were fired, or worse; assigned to the career scrap heap of the Human Resources department.
Successful clones chose to wear the same clothes, ate the same food and talked about the same golf clubs as their CEO. This was part of the succession plan.
It is alleged that DNA cloning has been investigated by the company.
Studies have shown that diversity is more likely to secure innovation than closing in a narrow and existing formula for success.
